Mike Nemke, a former data scientist at Discrete Data Solutions, has been named director of artificial intelligence and machine learning at Aptive Resources, FedHealthIT reported Wednesday.
Nemke will use his background in building AI and ML-based commercial offerings for federal government clients in his new role.
He started his career in 2004 as a member of the U.S. Army Special Forces and served at the service branch for nine years in various roles.
Nemke was responsible for founding startup firms Discrete Data Solutions, MKTR.AI and Team Room, where he also worked as a product manager and data scientist. He also held the role of product, marketing and data science consultant at AngeLoop and Emerio Group.
