The U.S. Special Operations Command has posted a request for information to seek potential sources of prototype commercial off-the-shelf software tools that will trace fraudulent information in real-time.
A notice posted Dec. 12 on the General Services Administration’s System for Award Management portal says USSOCOM eyes a software tool that houses a cloud-based interface program designed to process and analyze social media and web information.
The required prototype must utilize natural language processing, deep learning and dynamic network analysis to track and evaluate the spread of fraudulent information through various data sources and platforms.
In addition, the selected vendor must employ network graph analysis to lower computational load for deep fake detectors and help address various factors such as anticipatory analytics, anomaly detection and foreign influence.
Interested vendors are required to submit a capability statement that will describe how they can achieve USSOCOM’s requirements.
Responses to the notice are due Jan. 18.
