Ubiq Security has rolled out a software development kit on Amazon Web Services' digital catalog to help government customers protect sensitive data at rest or in transit.
The company said Tuesday organizations in the public sector and regulated industries can access the SDK offering in the AWS Marketplace for GovCloud(US), an isolated region designed to assist clients with government compliance requirements.
"The resounding challenge we hear from government agencies is, 'how do we effectively achieve data security in the cloud,'" Ubiq CEO Wias Issa said.
Issa added the company's platform will work to help agencies and supporting entities secure information in various while preventing user disruption.
Ubiq created its SDK for manufacturers and developers to incorporate security tools into devices and applications. The company uses asynchronous multithreading approaches to address data transmission, efficiency, latency and overhead challenges.
