Ivanti has secured Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program certification for a cloud-based platform that works to help customers manage information techology assets and services.
The Ivanti Service Manager offering is designed to integrate with Ivanti Asset Manager and automate the process for managing service desk, help desk and other services, the company said Tuesday.
A third-party assessment organization evaluated the offering's readiness for the government's cloud service certification process and submitted a report of findings to the FedRAMP program management office.
Ivanti added its Authorized designation reflects the issuance of an authorization to operate from a federal agency that tested the offering.
Evan Slack, director of the Ivanti team at Carahsoft Technology, said the authorization represents a milestone as both companies aim to support federal customers in cloud migration efforts.
Carahsoft distributes Ivanti products to the public sector market.
