Edgybees has booked multiple contracts via the U.S. Air Force’s AFWERX innovation program to help the service branch obtain situational awareness with the use of a computer vision technology.
The company said Tuesday it will provide the Augmented Reality Ground Underlying System for military commanders to view geospatial data and live video footage on operational environments.
One of the the firm’s contract awards is for phase 2 work under the Small Business Innovation Research program.
Adam Kaplan, co-founder and CEO of Edgybees, said the company will apply its AR reality platform to help the service branch understand realities on the ground and make training and operational decisions.
