Accelera Solutions has secured a potential three-year, $40.4M contract to help the U.S. Army's Civilian Human Resources Agency implement, manage and sustain a cloud computing infrastructure.

The company said Tuesday it will work to transition CHRA applications to the Microsoft Azure environment from data centers and ensure that systems comply with Department of Defense cybersecurity requirements.

Under the contract, Accelera will also help the agency migrate legacy apps onto ServiceNow-built cloud platform.

Steve Weiss, president and chief operating officer of Accelera, said the company will apply its cloud migration and information technology modernization experience to support the Army on its project.
