Triumph Group secured a $12.4M delivery order with the Defense Logistics Agency to provide the U.S. Army with digital electronic control units for aircraft.
The Army will use these T700 control units to update fleets of UH-60 Black Hawk and AH-64 Apache helicopters, Triumph said Wednesday.
The company received the order in September and commenced deliveries in October. The order is part of a five-year contract with DLA.
Deliveries for over 2K more EDECUs will follow in future orders under the contract through 2022.
Triumph’s integrated systems engine and control business conducts production activities for the effort.
