PAE has landed the top 50 spot on Indeed.com’s list of top veteran employers and was named a military spouse-friendly employer by Military.com and Viqtory Media.
The company said Monday that the Virginia Values Veterans program also gave PAE a V3 certification which validates its implementation of best practices in veteran recruitment and retention.
Brigit Freedman, director of recruiting at PAE, said the company provides opportunities for veterans to make use of their expertise in developing offerings encompassing counter-terrorism, intelligence, international logistics and space technologies.
Patricia Munchel, the firm’s chief human resources officer, said that PAE partners with organizations like the Military Child Education Coalition to support military-connected applicants as part of their corporate social responsibility program.
According to the firm, more than 50 percent of its leadership team come from military backgrounds and that veterans account for 3.4K out of approximately 20K employees in its global workforce.
