New Direction Technologies Inc. has won a potential five-year, $68.7M contract from the U.S. Navy to update and maintain systems being used by the Airborne Threat Simulation Organization in electronic warfare scenarios.

Four offers were submitted to the Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division for the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract via a small business set-aside acquisition process, the Department of Defense said Thursday.

The IDIQ will involve engineering, operational, maintenance, program and technical administrative support services.

NDTI will perform work through November 2024 at Point Mugu in California and in the Canadian provinces of British Columbia and Nova Scotia.

Cedric Knight, a two-decade veteran of the U.S. Navy, established and leads NDTI. The company offers information technology, engineering, prototyping, acquisition and program management, software development and cybersecurity services to the defense sector.
