LMI will develop a suite of tools designed to support the documentation of U.S. service personnel health risks under a three-year, $12.8M contract.

The company said Wednesday its future toolkit will work boost the timeliness and accuracy of documentation that covers occupational and environmental health risks.

Commanders will use this toolkit to achieve situational awareness across military health risks, with tools for automated health risk assessment, algorithm monitoring and information management.

The toolkit’s development also supports a prototyping effort for the Joint Health Risk Management Enhanced Capability Demonstration.

The Defense Health Agency, U.S. Special Operations Command and the Joint Program Executive Office for Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear are working together on the JHRM ECD effort.

“The JHRM Decision Support and Information System Prototype is a significant step toward operational technology that will enable better-informed decision-making on the frontlines and in the immediate- and long-term care of service members,” said Robert Lech, vice president for LMI’s defense segment.
