Iteris has agreed to serve as an integrator of Cisco Systems’ internet of things technologies for smart city transportation applications.
The solution technology integrator agreement enables Iteris’ use of Cisco-made software and hardware for smart transportation projects, providing a secure communication infrastructure, Iteris said Thursday.
Iteris will also offer its intersection-as-a-service to aid in the processing of large data sets and applications linked to connected transportation vehicles.
In June, Iteris agreed to provide its video detection platform to support Cisco’s Connected Communities Infrastructure.
