General Dynamics’ mission systems business and Douglas Dynamics have been honored by supply chain risk management firm riskmethods in recognition of their methodologies in building sustainable and compliant supply chain systems.
The two companies received the 2019 Program of the Year awards during the Supply Chain Risk Management Summit event in Boston, riskmethods said Friday.
Scotty Miller, vice president of supply chain management at GDMS, said riskmethods’ offerings allow visibility to the former's supply chain team.
“We know that monitoring for risk is more important than ever and we are thrilled that our accomplishments have been recognized,†said Jim Klotz, senior vice president of global sourcing and supply at Douglas Dynamics.
Aside from the two companies, riskmethods has also recognized Clariant, FMC, HBK, Nokia and WABCO in a separate event at Hamburg, Germany.
