Cybersecurity company Fortinet has partnered with Microsoft in an effort to help customers manage, connect and secure workloads in a cloud computing environment.
Fortinet said Monday it expanded the integration of its security products with Microsoft’s Azure platform to provide organizations the capacity to deploy cloud-based applications.
The partnership seeks to help clients connect to the Azure Virtual WAN networking service with the use of Fortinet’s Secure SD-WAN platform.
According to the cybersecurity firm, it will also offer the FortiCWP workload protection technology designed to generate threat intelligence and analyze data in Azure blob storage.
The company added it will deliver the Fortiweb WAF-as-a-Service platform from the cloud marketplace to help administrators automatically provision protection tools and adjust security policies.
Customers can also protect on-premise and hybrid cloud systems using the Fortinet Security Fabric on Azure.
John Maddison, executive vice president of product and chief marketing officer at Fortinet, said the integrated offerings strengthen the collaboration between the two companies to support end-to-end security across the digital attack surface
