Trowbridge & Trowbridge announced on Tuesday that Alan Thomas Jr., former commissioner of the Federal Acquisition Service with the General Services Administration, has joined the company as the executive vice president of special projects.Â

Thomas became the FAS’ commissioner with GSA in June 2017 and held the position until resigning in Oct. 2019. Over his 25 years in the public and private sector, Thomas has served Booz Allen Hamilton, the Department of Defense, the U.S. Army, Artlin Consulting, Berico Technologies, Data Networks Corporation, and other federal agencies and companies.Â
In addition to his new position with Trowbridge, Thomas will also be joining the advisory board of Enlightenment Capital, a portfolio company of Trowbridge.
