Exostar and Ivis Technologies have partnered to distribute cloud-based risk management products across the global aerospace and defense industry.

The partnership intends to aid small, medium and large companies comply with cybersecurity standards imposed by the Department of Defense, the National Institute of Standards and Technology and other government agencies, Exostar said Tuesday.

Such standards include the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification and NIST’s Special Publication 800-171 security controls.

Stuart Itkin, vice president of marketing and product management at Exostar, said the new products will help firms identify the requirements needed to attain CMMC certification.

Under the partnership, the companies will provide suppliers with guidance and reference materials on CMMC and NIST SP 800-171 standards.

Exostar offers a suite of risk management to members of the DoD supply chain that aims to help them adhere to the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement. This suite includes tools that aid in system security planning, security controls and supply chain risk management.
