Vik Mehta, a more than 16-year veteran of CNSI, has been named senior vice president of capture and proposal strategy at health information technology company C-HIT, FedHealthIT reported Tuesday.
He will oversee C-HIT's efforts to develop corporate proposal and capture strategy, as well as establish branding and positioning approaches in accordance with the Columbia, Md.-based firm's portfolio of health IT projects.
Mehta initially joined CNSI in August 1996 and worked there until March 2008. He was VP of communication and capture strategy at CNSI before he moved to IT consulting services provider C4L as president.
He returned to the health IT service management company in late 2014 as SVP of corporate proposal operations.
C-HIT is a woman-owned company that also offers software and cloud engineering, and data, identity and access management services.
