Synnex has begun to offer Avaya's unified communications-as-a-service platform to a distribution network that primarily serves the public sector market.
Avaya said Monday its OneCloud Secure UCaaS offering is certified under the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program and designed to help government customers manage voice, video, messaging, voicemail, and collaboration applications.
Eddie Franklin, senior vice president of sales and public sector business at Synnex, said the partnership seeks to help agencies adopt cloud-based communications tools as part of information technology modernization efforts.
OneCloud Secure includes 24x7x365 support for hardware, software and services.
Avaya added it will add contact center as a service to the UCaaS offering early next year and work with Synnex to drive government adoption of the platform through certification programs such as FedRAMP.
