Alion Science and Technology has received a Capability Maturity Model Integration Maturity Level 3 appraisal for the company's practices to develop software and provide related services to customers.
The rating certifies Alion’s simulation and modeling offerings as operating on a “defined†level, with clear explanations available for procedures and requirements regarding offerings such as enterprise information technology, interactive training and customer support, the company said Tuesday.
Katie Selbe, senior vice president and general manager of Alion's cyber network solutions group, said the CMMI Level 3 appraisal reflects the dedication of the company to apply best practices and continue improvement efforts in support of mission partners.
The Software Quality Center performed the assessment for CMMI Development and CMMI Services and Service System Development frameworks.
Alion also received a similar rating in 2016 and 2013.
