Motorola Solutions has helped the U.S. Air Force implement security camera systems at a military installation in Bellevue, Neb., to support remote monitoring of aircraft takeoff and landing activities up to three miles away.
The company said Friday it equipped Offutt AF Base with Avigilon H4 Pro cameras for site personnel to record flight path videos and use the data for incident investigation and safety training purposes.
H4 Pro features the LightCatcher technology built to generate images even in low-light conditions and a high-megapixel rating to facilitate wide area coverage.
Avigilon cameras helped Offutt personnel to remotely monitor water levels during a recent flood.
Offutt is home to aircraft operated by the Air Combat Command's 55th Wing and the airplane used to transport the U.S. defense secretary.
