Acumen Solutions, VA Form Program Mgmt Tool Dev’t Partnership

Acumen Solutions and the Department of Veterans Affairs have teamed up to build a system that will manage program applications and triage cases through the Salesforce platform.

VA eyes to utilize the tool to migrate application processes digitally and accelerate the approval of veteran benefits, the company said Monday.

The firm has also developed a customized Salesforce tool that will help the Office of Rural Health accommodate grant applications and is currently leading contact center modernization efforts for VA programs.

“We believe the Department of Veterans Affairs is setting the pace for other government agencies to modernize and improve, in order to provide a better experience for the public,” said Jay Tansing, managing director at Acumen Solutions.

VA initially fielded the Caregiver Record Management Application, a tool designed to assist more than 50K veterans in securing caretaker and financial aid under the Mission Act.
