TYSONS CORNER, VA, October 11, 2019 — Maxar Technologies (NYSE: MAXR) has established a facility in downtown St. Louis in support of multiple National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency programs, ExecutiveGov reported Wednesday.
The company said Wednesday the majority of the new office’s initial 48 employees will work with NGA on the agency’s Global Enhanced GEOINT Delivery, Janus Geography and Small Business Innovation Research Phase III contracts.
“This new facility will provide our customers with easier access to better geospatial products and insights for success across the breadth of defense and intelligence missions,†said Tony Frazier, executive vice president of global field operations at Maxar and a 2019 Wash100 winner.
NGA awarded Maxar a potential four-year, $176M contract in August to provide U.S. government personnel access to commercial imagery via the Global EGD program.
