Tetra Tech will help the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers design flood risk management and erosion protection infrastructure under a potential five-year, $40M contract.
The company said Monday its engineers will work with USACE in efforts to boost the resiliency of levees, floodwalls and other flood control systems mainly within southwestern U.S.
Contract work will include hydraulic and hydrologic analyses, geomorphic assessments and river and groundwater modeling efforts.
Dan Batrack, chairman and CEO of Tetra Tech, said the company has provided water resource engineering support to USACE Albuquerque District over the past two decades.
