Symantec, Anomali to Jointly Offer Threat Intelligence Products

Symantec and cybersecurity firm Anomali have partnered to globally distribute products that use threat data to give users information they can utilize to make cybersecurity decisions.

The partnership’s announcement took place at the Detect 2019 event, a user conference hosted by Anomali, the company said Wednesday.

Symantec’s 2019 Internet Security Threat Report identified web attacks, ransomware, supply chain risks and phishing as threats that are growing both in quantity and intensity.

Enterprises now seek technologies that use threat data and information to detect, track and address cyber attacks, according to Anomali.

Hugh Njemanze, CEO at Anomali, said the partnership aims to provide customers with an added layer of intelligence against a variety of threats.
