Serco to Restore Navy Submarine Antenna Pedestal System; Dave Dacquino Quoted

TYSONS CORNER, VA, October 23, 2019 — Serco Inc. received a potential five-year, $49M contract from the  Naval Undersea Warfare Center to provide repair and overhaul support for the antenna pedestal group of the  U.S. Navy's Submarine High Data Rate system, ExecutiveGov reported Oct. 15.

The company said Oct. 15 it will also help the service branch evaluate and restore subcomponents in the SubHDR APG, which allows the country's submariners to transmit video, data and voice communications. Majority of contract work will take place in Ludlow, Mass.
