TYSONS CORNER, VA, October 9, 2019 — Raytheon (NYSE: RTN) recognized Jim Ullmann, director of safety and technology at the National Air Traffic Controllers Association, for his work in the country’s air traffic management efforts.
The company said Sept. 18 it presented the 2019 Air Traffic Controller of the Year award to Ullman during the NATCA Communicating for Safety conference held last month.
He worked as an air traffic controller for 26 years and has demonstrated leadership in representing the interests of 20K controllers.
