Raytheon Builds Final Update for Electronic Warfare Sharing Tool

Raytheon has started the development of a capability update for an electronic warfare sharing tool as part of a two-year U.S. Army contract.

The Electronic Warfare Planning and Management Tool’s Capability Drop 4 will equip the platform with an updated user interface and software component to reinforce mobile connectivity, the company said Thursday.

It works to oversee, plan and control various systems and sensors within the electromagnetic spectrum. The tool will also help warfighters carry out cyber effects in multi-domain operations through its open architecture feature.

“EWPMT gives the Army the freedom to add new capabilities and algorithms so they can manage an increasingly complex electromagnetic spectrum,” said Niraj Srivastava, product line manager for Raytheon’s electronic warfare systems business.

The tool’s Capability Drop 3 allowed users to manipulate signals without a host server.
