NextFlex Fabrication Facility Gains ITAR Compliance - top government contractors - best government contracting event

A NextFlex-owned, California-based fabrication facility has achieved compliance with standards provided by the International Traffic in Arms Regulations.

The achievement reflects the adherence of NextFlex’s quality system to ITAR’s regulations for defense-related exports, the research institute said Wednesday.

ITAR provides standards for military-grade materials, electronics and other similar products. NextFlex will work to maintain this compliance across manufacturing activities within the facility.

The fabrication site features laboratory, printing and integration facilities to support the production of flexible hybrid electronics.

“The NextFlex Technology Hub is now ITAR compliant, meaning that the necessary controls are in place to ensure that all regulated data and product and project information is cyber-secured and physically quarantined,” said Art Wall, director of fabrication operations at NextFlex.
