Matt Anderson, former president and chief digital officer of Arrow Electronics, and Stefan Grunwald, a former senior vice president at Cardinal Health, have joined Carlyle Group to fill executive roles.
Anderson will serve as Carlyle’s first chief digital officer, a position through which he will lead digital transformation strategies in support of the company’s investments, Carlyle Group said Monday.
His strategic development duties will cover multiple technology aspects, including analytics and data.
Grunwald will function as chief procurement officer to oversee the supply chain of Carlyle’s portfolio and work with managers to boost the chain’s efficiency.
He formerly oversaw strategic sourcing and procurement during his time at Cardinal Health.
Both newly-appointed officers will support Carlyle’s investment efforts in strategy and operations.
