Hewlett Packard Enterprise has infused artificial intelligence into the company's hyperconverged infrastructure platform in a move to help customers gain visibility of system performance and uncover technical problems.
SimpliVity HCI now includes the InfoSight technology designed to manage capacity utilization, deliver automatic alerts and predict complex issues, the company said Monday.
The AI-powered offering builds upon a software-based architecture and works to simplify the virtual machine management process.
HPE added that SimpliVity offers a one-click option for customers to update firmware, software and hypervisor across multiple nodes within a cluster.
The company also offers its StoreOnce backup appliance for the HCI platform to support data backup and recovery functions.
