General Electric secured a potential five-year, $61.2 million contract to repair, modify or replace assets supporting the U.S. Navy’s weapons management systems.
The performance-based logistics contract also covers inventory, configuration and obsolescence management support for the Navy’s stores management system, stores management upgrade system and communication set controller, the Department of Defense said Friday.
Naval Supply Systems Command’s Weapon Systems Support division received one offer for the firm-fixed-price and indefinite-delivery award and will obligate funds upon issuance of each task order. The Pentagon expects contract work to conclude by October 2024.
