General Dynamics Network Encryptor Gets NSA Approval

General Dynamics’ mission systems business has received the National Security Agency’s certification for a network encryptor that works to protect classified and top secret information.

The company said Tuesday its KG-175N TACLANE- Nano encryptor is now NSA-certified to protect critical data, voice and video transmissions across national systems and government networks.

TACLANE-Nano is designed for intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance and special operation missions. The encryptor’s compact size allows it for use with dismounted troops and manned and unmanned systems.

“General Dynamics is committed to advancing our TACLANE portfolio to address our customers’ unique mission needs from enterprise to edge,” said Brian Morrison, vice president and manager at General Dynamics Mission Systems’ cyber systems unit.
