Kay Maloney, former general manager of space control at Harris Corp. (now L3Harris Technologies), has been named vice president and general manager of Eastern region and North American operations of Cubic’s transportation systems business.
Maloney brings over 15 years of program and capture management, engineering, strategy and organizational leadeship experience to her new position, the company said Tuesday.
Her career at Harris also includes time as program director of precision, navigation and timing. She also managed ranges programs and space systems there.
She has gained experience in managing profit-and-loss functions and business integration efforts through acquisitions, according to Cubic.
Maloney earned her bachelor’s degree in information technology from University of Central Florida and her master’s degree in systems engineering from Florida Institute of Technology.
