Edward Burrows, former program manager for robotic process automation at the General Services Administration, has joined information management services provider Brillient as vice president of intelligent solutions.
The Reston, Va.-based company said Thursday that Burrows is responsible for helping drive sales of its artificial intelligence, intelligent automation and RPA offerings to the public and private sectors.
He joined GSA in March 2015 as senior adviser to the agency chief financial officer and managed its financial shared services provider. He also served as the first chair of the Federal RPA Community of Practice.
Prior to joining the public sector, Burrows held leadership roles at telecommuniations firms Telarix, BT Group and MarketIocity. He previously served as government co-chair of ACT-IAC’s Intelligent Automation Working Group and spearheaded the creation of an automation primer.
