Forcepoint Introduces Cloud-Based Web Security Service

Forcepoint has unveiled a cloud-based security offering that will enable clients to protect data throughout the operations lifecycle.

Web Security is designed to help customers meet the General Data Protection Regulation and secure Cloud Security Alliance Star Gold and ISO 27018 certifications, the company said Tuesday.

The firm noted it has made the technology available to 160 public points of presence within 128 countries and will allow Forcepoint to augment data sovereignty, content localization and low latency features.

“Utilizing modern cybersecurity from enterprise-class cloud-first companies such as Forcepoint can in fact help enterprises leapfrog the competition by accelerating their digital transformation efforts with dynamic and proactive security designed for today’s modern threat landscape,” said Matthew Moynahan, CEO at Forcepoint.

The company has also released the Direct Connect Endpoint tool, an offering that works to protect approximately 1M endpoints.
