FireEye to Develop Managed Service Bundle for Verodin Security Tech

FireEye looks to create a managed service bundle that will enable the firm’s Verodin subsidiary to offer its security instrumentation tool to regular consumers, CRN reported Friday.

Chris Carter, vice president of FireEye’s Americas channels, said the company is currently developing the inclusions and pricing for the bundle prior to its planned release in January. The security tool works to help users gauge and assess cyber environments to validate potential risks.

In addition, the offering will potentially address security gaps from information technology environment changes or equipment configuration. Carter noted the firm’s partners anticipate a product that will enable them to use Verodin’s simulations within a 60-day period.

“It is definitely an opportunity we want to seize upon, because I do believe that every customer can benefit from what Verodin does,” said Carter.

The company also intends to seek opportunities for customers to use the tool on a regular basis after its installation. Verodin has also partnered with Empower Solutions to reduce duplicative tools and optimize customers’ security posture.
