Expanse, a San Francisco-based internet operations management firm, has been classified as a “strong performer†in The Forrester Wave Vulnerability Risk Management report for the fourth quarter of 2019.
The company said Monday the Forrester Wave report assessed the weaknesses and strengths of top vendors of vulnerability management tools against 14 criteria classified into market presence, strategy and current offering categories.
The Expanse platform received the highest rating across execution roadmap, product vision and digital footprinting criteria. The platform is composed of Expander, Link and Behavior designed to help organizations detect and manage internet assets and security risks.
Matt Kraning, co-founder and chief technology officer of Expanse, said the company’s products provide a set of capabilities to help clients identify and monitor assets on the public internet without the need for installation.
“We believe the recognition in the Forrester Wave validates our continued commitment to protecting organizations’ attack surface areas, enabling them to know exactly where an attack is coming from, and reducing future exposure to attackers,†Kraning added.
