Drone Aviation has concluded the development and delivery of a plug and play video distribution update kit that works to support a mobile aerostat platform built by the company.
The technology works to capture and transmit full-motion videos from the Winch Aerostat Small Platform’s intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance sensor unit to Android Tactical Awareness Kits, the company said Wednesday.
In addition, the technology met Project Manager Tactical Radio, Program Executive Office and PEO Soldier Nettwarrior requirements prior to its delivery.
“Drone Aviation is honored to be selected by our Army customer to expand the capability of WASP by providing deployed soldiers with secure video directly on their existing handheld devices,†said Dan Erdberg, CEO and president at Drone Aviation.
