The Department of Homeland Security has included Cyxtera Technologies’ software-defined perimeter to the Continuous Diagnosis and Mitigation Program’s approved product list.
AppGate SDP has achieved stringent requirements and demonstrated a capacity to integrate into an agency’s security framework to secure its spot in the APL, the company said Tuesday.
The offering is available on the CDM contract vehicle.
“Enterprise-wide visibility of what assets, users and activities are on the network empowers agencies to effectively monitor, defend and respond to cyber incidents,” said Gregory Touhill, president of Cyxtera’s federal group.
Touhill added AppGate SDP will work to help government clients protect information technology assets from potential attacks.
The CDM program offers a range of tools designed to help agencies increase cybersecurity visibility, reduce threat surfaces and simplify reporting functions in accordance with the Federal Information Security Modernization Act.
