Cubic has concluded a National Information Assurance Partnership Common Criteria testing and validation process for two ruggedized servers designed to help operators transmit secure and classified data via unsecured or commercial networks.

The DTECH M3X and M3-SE servers use version 8.2 of Aruba Networks’ Virtual Mobility Controller tool, the company said Wednesday.

In addition, the M3-SE SVR4 and M3X-APP offerings have been included under the National Security Agency’s Commercial Solutions for Classified Components list for wireless LAN, traffic filtering firewall and IPsec VPN gateway products.

“This milestone represents an important step forward in our commitment to both the CSfC program and to our broad base of DoD customers with secure wireless needs,” said Mike Barthlow, senior vice president and general manager for rugged Internet of Things at Cubic’s mission solutions business.
