The U.S. Army has tapped Collins Aerospace to deliver updated Mounted Assured Positioning, Navigation and Timing Systems for the service branch's crewed ground vehicle fleet.

MAPS Gen II is equipped with Digital GPS Anti-jam Receiver-100 and NavHub-100 tools and works to sustain GPS capabilities within remote areas, the company said Tuesday.

In addition, the platform may access Military Code frequency and optimize reliability levels via a signal tracking tool.

Troy Brunk, vice president and general manager for communication, navigation and guidance solutions at Collins Aerospace, said that the company’s mounted APNT offering “provides the access and integrity required to keep up with the pace of current and future threats.”

NavHub-100 is designed to distribute APNT information to all connected systems, while DIGAR-100 is an anti-jam antenna that secures communication functions in austere environments.
