CACI International's national security solutions business will continue to help the U.S. Air Force sustain and operate a satellite control network at different mission sites under a $63.3M contract option.

The award represents the third option period of the Consolidated Air Force Satellite Control Network Modification, Maintenance and Operations contract, the Department of Defense said Friday.

USAF will obligate $19.1M in fiscal 2020 operations and maintenance funds at the time of award.

The department noted that the AFSCN CAMMO contract has a face value of $341.9M and includes support for factory compatibility tests and phase-in system sustainment efforts.

CACI NSS will begin work under the exercised option on Nov. 22 and is expected to finish by May 21, 2024.

Locations of performance include tracking stations in the British Indian Ocean Territory, Guam, Hawaii, New Hampshire, California and Greenland.

The Air Force awarded the initial CAMMO contract in June 2016.
