Amazon Web Services has partnered with Esri to help technology startup firms do business in the state and local government markets through the Washingon, D.C.-based accelerator organization CivStart.
Both companies will offer services, products and tools to 10 startups that aim to further develop operations, Washington, D.C.-based CivStart said Wednesday.
The entrepreneurs will undergo a CivStart-led program aimed at mentoring and educating them about product development. Leaders from larger firms and non-federal government agencies will provide guidance to the cohort.
Participants will also receive access to technology platforms via AWS’ Activate program and the ArcGIS geospatial analytics platform from Esri.
Anthony Jamison, CEO at CivStart, said the accelerator brings startups closer to state and local government leaders and technologies from established firms.
