Atlas exhibited the multi-domain capacities of its AtlasPRO unmanned aircraft system during the Department of Defense’s Thunderstorm 19-2 Multi-Domain Operations Demonstration and Experimentation Event in New York.
The company also tested its AtlasMESH technology, which works to help operators command a UAS network from a centralized ground control station and distribute missions to multiple UAS units, Atlas said Wednesday.
In addition, Atlas unveiled Hot-Swap, a beyond visual line-of-sight offering that will allow continuous communication through drone relay functions.
“We are proud that the U.S. Army recognizes how Atlas is advancing UAS and MESH technology to meet mission objectives more effectively, better equip our soldiers and first responders with the tools they need to maintain dominance on the battlefield and save lives,†said Ivan Tolchinsky, founder and CEO at Atlas.
