Ultimate Knowledge has won a 12-month, $4.1M task order to train U.S. Marine Corps Forces Cyberpsace Command personnel to secure critical defense networks.
The company said Friday it will provide courseware content, classroom and virtual instruction, learning management and certification test services to MARFORCYBER.
“Not only will these training events prepare the students for the rigorous requirements of industry certification, but more importantly, help them with real-world application," said Scott Wells, co-founder of Ultimate Knowledge.
"To have been honored and entrusted with this great responsibility is humbling. Ultimate Knowledge Corporation (UKI) doesn’t take the task of preparing our cyber warriors lightly," co-founder Tony Akers added.
Under the task order, the company will facilitate courses designed to help command members comply with the Department of Defense Directive 8140.
MARFORCYBER is responsible for operating and protecting the Marine Corps Enterprise Network as well as conducting cyber defense missions within MCEN and Joint Force networks.
