Kerry Kelley, former chief information officer of the U.S. Strategic Command, has been appointed senior representative for Alexandria, Va.-based technical services firm Systems Planning and Analysis’ operations in Omaha, Neb.
The retired Senior Executive Service member will coordinate SPA’s communications with Department of Defense clients and oversee the company’s efforts to deliver analysis, modeling and simulation services to Stratcom as part of her new role, SPA said Friday.
In her most recent capacity, Kelley managed the development and execution of Stratcom’s enterprise information technology efforts. She concurrently served as director of command, control, communications and computer systems responsible for overseeing Stratcom's integrated C4 operations for global missions.
In addition, she was the director of the command’s Joint Cyber Center and led activities to protect the command headquarters’ information environment.
William Vantine, president and CEO at SPA, said Kelley’s expertise will “provide tremendous benefits†to the company as it seeks to expand its projects in mission areas, such as missile defense and other information-driven efforts.
Kelley brings more than three decades of experience in federal program management spanning strategic deterrence, cyberspace, nuclear and space-related initiatives.
