Ryan Brewer, formerly a consultant for Washington, D.C.-based risk management services firm Iron Vine Security, has joined the company as executive vice president for strategy and business development.
He previously led Iron Vine’s efforts to achieve ISO certification for IT service management and will oversee market analysis, strategy execution and overall business development activities in his new role, Iron Vine said Tuesday.
The more than 20-year federal sector veteran previously spent time in leadership roles at Deloitte and CACI International and served as a partner at Jacobs Engineering’s Blue Canopy Group business. He is also the founder of cybersecurity firms Macrae and GrayScout.
In addition to his private sector roles, Brewer served as chief information security officer at the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services and worked for the Department of the Interior and U.S. Agency for International Development.
Iron Vine offers a range of cybersecurity, IT management and cloud infrastructure support services to clients in the federal government, healthcare and financial sectors.
