Raytheon’s missile systems business has secured a $25.5M contract to provide critical design review of a military-grade signal used with a certain U.S. Navy missile system.

According to a Department of Defense notice published Wednesday, the company will study, analyze, design, develop, integrate and test the Tomahawk Weapons System Military Code’s software and hardware components, the 

In addition, the cost-plus-fixed fee contract also provides for services to help the Navy form a bill kit of AGR5, an anti-jam tool for the global positioning system. The bill kit will guide the service branch in planning the materials, production, integration, testing and documentation of an AGR5 kit.

Raytheon will perform over half of work in El Segundo, Calif., and the remaining fraction in Tucson, Ariz., through March 2021.

Naval Air Systems Command will initially obligate $7.6M in fiscal 2018 and 2019 funds allotted for research, development, test and evaluation.
