Perspecta will continue to provide information technology services and operate the Navy Marine Corps Intranet under the potential $657M Next Generation Enterprise Network contract modification.

Mac Curtis, Perspecta president and CEO and a 2019 Wash100 winner, said in a statement published Monday the company is proud of the partnership it has developed with the Navy and looks forward to advancing new ideas to prepare for the NGEN program’s next phase.

Under NGEN, Perspecta helps manage NMCI, which currently supports approximately 700K uniformed and civilian personnel from both service branches.

The contract modification extends IT services delivery for another four months, which will run from June 1, 2020, to Sept. 30, 2020. The extension includes a three-month option period that could run through December 2020 if exercised.
