Northrop Grumman Systems will produce B-2 bomber aircraft parts for the U.S. Air Force under a potential nine-year, $42.8M contract with the Defense Logistics Agency.
The company will manufacture hot trailing edge structures under the sole-source, indefinite-quantity contract, the Department of Defense said Friday.
Work will take place in California, Missouri, Ohio and Oklahoma over a four-year base period, and may continue for five more years if the given option is exercised.
DLA uses fiscal 2019 defense working capital funds to finance activities under the contract.
Orbital ATK, now part of Northrop Grumman, received a contract in 2017 to manufacture hot trailing edge units for the same aircraft.
