Mercury Systems has unveiled a new downconverter-upconverter set designed to convert broadband intermediate frequencies during operations.

Its SpectrumSeries RFT-3200 downconverter and RFT-4200 upconverter allow users to address changing battlefield needs in agile electronic warfare and intelligence, the company said Thursday.

The customizable converters work to help users accommodate mission requirements such as sensitivity and storage capacity.

Users may employ higher bandwidth settings to scan for electromagnetic threats and process wideband signals.

The converters also generate up to 40 gigahertz of radio frequency performance.
